‘Fun Family and Food’ Day at One Arm Point

On the 23^rd of October Sue Swanson, Boab Health’s West Kimberley Paediatric Nutritionist and Liz Edwards, a West Kimberley Dietitian, teamed up with Save the Children to take part in the ‘Fun Family and Food’ day at One Arm Point.

The event saw around 220 people join in a range of interactive activities, including the Boab Health team’s healthy lunchbox game, ‘guess the weight of the fat model’ competition and sampling a tasty bean salsa.

The event was a huge success and a great opportunity for the peninsula communities to familiarise themselves with the Boab staff regularly servicing the area, as well as having fun learning about healthy food choices.
